Three Christian Constants
"There are some things that last through every season." In this message, we learn about the practices we must always maintain in our walk with God.
Message Notes
“Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
Some things are seasonal. But some things should remain within us permanently.
Rejoice Evermore
“Rejoice evermore.”
Joy is not just a mood, it’s an action of faith.
Like David, you can rejoice in God even when others misunderstand you.
Rejoicing shifts your focus from what’s wrong to who God is.
Rejoicing is more than a mood — it’s a verb! It’s a doing thing!
2. Pray Without Ceasing
“Pray without ceasing.”
Prayer is not limited to set times — it’s a lifestyle of conversation with God.
Pressure and trials may increase when you pray, but that’s when you need prayer most.
God honors consistency in prayer, just as He did with Daniel.
Daniel, a man harrowed by tragedy, prayed three times a day, at the threat of death: Don’t. Stop. Praying.
3. In Everything Give Thanks
“In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
Gratitude transforms hardship into testimony.
Thankfulness is not about ignoring pain, but about trusting God’s purpose in it.
A thankful spirit keeps you aligned with God’s will.
We need to encourage ourselves, we need to teach our hearts how to appreciate the Lord.

Where can you make space to pray this week?
What’s one area you need to start giving thanks instead of complaining?
