Our Cross-Culture Mission

Being a Christian is not only about being saved by Christ...it also includes being sent by Christ. In this powerful message, we dive into the true meaning of being a disciple of Jesus by living in His mission.

Message Notes

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor... to set at liberty them that are bruised...to preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
— Luke 4:18–19
  • Salvation isn’t the finish line — it’s the starting point.

  • We are not just saved from sin; we are saved for mission.

  1. You Were Saved to Be Sent

And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation.
— Exodus 19:6
  • God didn’t just deliver Israel from Egypt — He gave them a mission.

  • The same is true for us. Salvation leads to purpose.

You weren’t just rescued from something — you were rescued for something.

2. You’ve Been Filled for a Reason

Ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses...
— Acts 1:8
  • Jesus began His ministry with the Spirit and a mission — and so do we.

  • The Spirit empowers us not just to live clean, but to live sent.

If the Spirit is in you, then the mission is on you.

3. Tongues Confirm the Mission

And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues...
— Acts 2:4
  • Speaking in tongues is not just personal — it’s missional.

  • It’s the sign that we’ve been filled and commissioned.

The Holy Ghost isn’t just for you — it’s through you, for the world.

Response

  • Maybe you’ve been living forgiven… but not yet sent.

  • The same Spirit that filled Jesus and the early Church is calling you too.

You don’t have to be perfect — just available. The mission starts now.
